I’ve been fascinated with technology for as long as I can remember.  That fascination grew into obsession which steered and solidified my decision to pursue a career in IT.  I started my professional journey at age 16 with the hope of leaving footprints all over the corporate ladder and sucking up knowledge as fast as possible.

A decade into my career I was working for a large MSP, with a huge roster of talented staff, and an abundance of resources yet I found myself starting to dread client meetings as they often started off with my apologies and making excuses as to why things were going wrong.  Indeed, clients were right to be upset, we had not been honoring our commitments and that didn’t seem to bother anyone but me.  There was no culture of accountability.  No one seemed to be solely responsible for anything and “not my job” was an all-too-common response.

I had reached my limit.  Determined to never again attach my name to shoddy work I set out to start my own firm, SunPoint IT Solutions, with a mission to always remain obsessed with elevating the client experience, being clear and committed to doing right by the client and honoring commitments.
